“A great beer and a homebrewed local experience -- very unique and genuine!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

Very unique, but with all the likeable elements. Oddly tucked away in an industrial section on the edge of town, with a genuine beermaking area visible in the next room, this was the perfect place to meet a good friend for a great beer. The operators shared good conversation, laughs and complimentary snacks. With interesting brews and activities, this place possesses the intellect of a classy pub and the warm personality of a hometown beer hall. Highly recommended -- for the beer and the experience!

“I love Sweet Mullets”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2013

Rarely in life do you have the opportunity to do the things that you love and at the same time have the opportunity to do something significant. I had the opportunity to visit Sweet Mullets and not only find fine human beings, but also find individuals that have advanced the notion of humanity beyond what any of us have ever dreamed of. Beer is beautiful...yes with out a doubt. And quite frankly Mark Duchow brews some of the best brews that mankind has ever known, but Barbara brings a passion to life with her experiences at NASA that go beyond simply brewing beer. We absolutely loved our experience at Sweet Mullets and we absolutely loved their beers. Beyond beer though....we loved the human beings that make up this establishment and wish them the very best in life. We will be back...and we expect to be better human beings with each every visit we make!

“True microbrew for beer-loving adults”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2012

This is a true brewhouse, NOT some makeshift "beer-making restaurant" like those in Delafield and Milwaukee. BEER above food, plain and simple --- they way it should be for a classic microbrew. Great for adult gatherings to sample some of the best beer is SE WI. Good cheese assortment and house specialties to fill in the gaps that the beer cannot satisfy. XLNT Sunday Bloody Sunday as well! Growlers also available for most of their beers too.

“Fantastic beer in a unique, comfortable atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2012

This is a craft brewery that serves seven of its own beer and one "guest" craft beer; typical large brewery bottled beers are also available. They do serve fairly decent food (sandwiches, cheese, charcuterie), but it's mostly to facilitate more beer drinking.

The location is in an industrial park, and the building is actually behind another industrial building, so be sure to follow the Sweet Mullets signs to find your way. Once inside, you'll find a large bar room with cement floors, tables apparently made from reclaimed wood, and comfortable upscale seating. You almost forget you're inside a brewery, except for being able to see the large brew tanks through the windows behind the bar.

My takeaway message: Sweet Mullets is beer-focused. My favorite was the abbey style Belgian IPA (called "Eleven"). You can get a sampler flight of their craft beer to assist your search for your favorite flavor.
