“Needs some updating”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2014

We stayed at this hotel because it was the host hotel and site of an antique car show we were attending. When we first walked in to the room there appeared to be dry dog food on one of the chairs. Maintenance did take care of it right away, however, housekeeping apparently didn't check the room too closely. The room was quite outdated, some light fixtures were replaced but holes were left in the walls. The light at the sink was not very bright. There were bags of garbage left in the exit hallway for more than a day and the trash cans outside were overflowing. The guest room hallways needed new carpet and a fresh coat of paint on the walls. The walls were so thin that you could hear everyone's conversation who were walking down the hall.

I am sure 30 years ago this was a grand place. Now it is very outdated and needs some desperate TCL!! Our key card didn't work and twice we had to go down to front desk. No small task as the front desk is very far away from the rooms. They did send maintenance up and it took them an hour to get locked fixed. They charge extra to use the pool..this should be included in your stay!!! Elevators felt like they would break down at any time. Could not adjust air conditioner. Walls are thin and you can hear all kinds of noise.

Beautiful resort! We loved our stay and will be back. We had a huge room with a balcony overlooking the pond and pool. The beds were very comfortable, we slept through breakfast and there was no where open for lunch, but that was the only downside of our stay. The outdoor pool is very nice and has a bar/grill. They have tetherball which I haven't seen in ages but is an awesome game. They have a restaurant and a bar, both had good service and good food. The bar was the highlight of our stay. Friday they had Karaoke and had some of the best singers I ever herd at a karaoke bar. Saturday they had a DJ and we ended up staying out much later then we would have liked. I didn't really use the spa but I took a peek and can't wait to come back and enjoy it. There was so much to do during our 2 day stay. I can't believe everything you get for the price. Can't wait to come back!

Room Tip: The view of the pond is beautiful!

Ive been staying here, for about 2 yrs, for 2-3 day stays.I love the location, I love the outside patio facing the small lake, the trees and grass lawn, volleyball, and outside pool. Inside this huge resort is also 2 bars ( friday night karokee),, which is really fun. And a nice restaurant. But the spa is really nice. sauna, whirlpool, steamroom, and for 18 yrs and up. They also offer massages, haicut salon, tanning booth ( extra charge). Theres still a few things that need to be fixed, but for the price, it the best place around, just to relax and you dont have to drive anywhere. Also they have room service!!

Room Tip: ask for room facing the lake, the other side of hotel faces the parking lot

My husband and I stayed at the Olympia Resort for one night because of his Nephew's wedding. Even though we didn't get to check in on time because they were cleaning our room, I would rather wait for a clean one! It is a very large resort and there were many other groups staying there for other weddings, conventions, a tournament and other reasons. It's been years since I have been to the Resort which in the past was for business purposes, but it looked very much the same. The wedding was very nice in one of the ballrooms and the staff was accommodating (especially the bartender who was exceptionally friendly and had a good sense of humor). All of the food before dinner, dinner and later in the evening was delicious. The breakfast buffet on Sunday in the restaurant was one of the best and again the staff was very nice and efficient. I would like to go again where I could stay in one of the renovated rooms and enjoy the spa, the pools and the grounds.

Stayed at the Olympia Resort over the 4th of July weekend, and while it wasn't the worst stay we've ever had, it certainly wasn't the best. A lot of the features of the property seemed very dated and in desperate need of updates. Our room was clean, but the carpet was a little worn, and our bathroom featured a stained/chipped bathtub and a toilet that took minutes to flush. The staff also wasn't as friendly as you'd expect a resort staff to be - we were treated like a major bother for asking the front desk for a couple extra towels, something any hotel wouldn't have any issue doing with a smile!

There is a lot to do on the property, including the outdoor pool and multiple bars/restaurants in the building which we loved. However, the place needs a lot of new carpeting, a significant paint job, updates to bathroom facilities, and some brighter light bulbs in the room bathrooms. We don't have plans to return to the area anytime soon, but if we did I think we'd stay elsewhere.

Ok Hotel, close to tube and easy access to city center. The breakfast was Nice. Clean rooms and good service. But a bit outside the citycenter of Valencia. No outside space and a few restaurants in the area.
