This is one of our best local restaurants; we enjoy it each time we visit. Service is always friendly and food is consistently good.. Our faves include the French onion soup, blackened cod with mango salsa and when we need a little comfort, Mac n cheese. Prices are very reasonable.
Decor is simple and appropriate for the historical building; nice, not fancy. The dining room tends to be a little noisy and when the adjacent bar is busy it gets even louder. We avoid all that by dining early. Be prepared to wait on weekends if you can't arrive early.
