Wanted to change it up for fish fry. We are regular Friday night fisher at another location, however it can get a bit too rowdy and the service is slow. So we drove on past that place on to the thirsty whale. Big mistake and waste of time. It is a bar atmosphere and staff did not care if you entered the place and barked at you when you wanted to look around. So left that place.
Someone in the family suggested the Rusty Putter. Okay? Well we walked in to this golf restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. The old wood lodge feel but not too old. Your simple golf restaurant but awesome service, atmosphere and fish fry. Not too loud where you can't hear others talk.
The roasted vegetables were excellent!
Fish fry was lightly breaded and great servings.
