“A great gem that brings one peace”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2013

This is a very small structure, but it is surrounded entirely by beautiful gardens and a water fountain in front. This is a popular congregating place for MU students during the warmer months (I myself loved to study here under the shade of the trees when a student). If you happen to catch their late-night Mass in the middle of the week during the winter, you'll LOVE the heated stone floors!

“unique place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2013

You would not expect to see this export from France right in the middle of Marquette University campus, but it is there in all it's well preserved beauty. Must see and learn the history of it when visiting Milwaukee

“Amazing History.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 6, 2013

This place was actually brought over from France and is said to be the last place that Joan prayed before she died. Definitely set up a time when you can do a guided tour so you can have the history of her and the chapel explained to you.

“Touch the brick!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2013

Can you imagine that Milwaukee has this Chapel! It is incredible! The engineering students measure the temperature and it is colder than the rest of the Chapel. It would be awesome to be married there!

“Travel back to another time and place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2013

This historic relic is located within the Marquette University quad off the south side of Wisconsin Avenue. The chapel was originally located in France but reassembled on the MU campus. They do hold masses weekly. You feel transported to the french countryside when you visit this place; hard to believe it's located on a busy college campus in a midwestern city. If you're in Milwaukee, definitely set aside some time-probably don't need more than an hour depending on whether you like to linger or not. It's a straight shot west on Wisconsin Ave from the lakefront- about 2 miles or so.
