“Amazing History.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 6, 2013

This place was actually brought over from France and is said to be the last place that Joan prayed before she died. Definitely set up a time when you can do a guided tour so you can have the history of her and the chapel explained to you.

“Touch the brick!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2013

Can you imagine that Milwaukee has this Chapel! It is incredible! The engineering students measure the temperature and it is colder than the rest of the Chapel. It would be awesome to be married there!

“Travel back to another time and place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2013

This historic relic is located within the Marquette University quad off the south side of Wisconsin Avenue. The chapel was originally located in France but reassembled on the MU campus. They do hold masses weekly. You feel transported to the french countryside when you visit this place; hard to believe it's located on a busy college campus in a midwestern city. If you're in Milwaukee, definitely set aside some time-probably don't need more than an hour depending on whether you like to linger or not. It's a straight shot west on Wisconsin Ave from the lakefront- about 2 miles or so.

This chapel is so spiritual and unique. It's an experience you should not miss. The building is a small masterpiece and the history is worth the trip.

“Quaint, Historic Chapel on a Busy Campus”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2012

We walked up and down Wisconsin Avenue, looking for the address of the chapel but were unable to find it. The address listed here was a little misleading because the chapel is not actually on Wisconsin Avenue -- it is behind the Marquette University library buildings on a very busy campus. Fortunately, a very friendly student was happy to direct us to the chapel which is just charming. The delay in locating the chapel caused us to arrive during the midday mass, so we enjoyed some time walking around the exterior of the building discovering the beauty of the campus and nearby statues. The time needed to visit the chapel is minimal, but lovers of history and architecture will enjoy a brief stop here. The location is not far from the Pabst Mansion, so it would be easy to combine the two.
