“Fantastico”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2013

Alioto's has beend around Milwaukee for over 50years and it keeps getting better. The bar is alive and exciting to sit and have a cocktail, the food is really fantastic and the menu is a wide selection of Italian, steak and seafood. Their soups are really good.

“Never a bad fish fry!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2013 via mobile

Love their friday fish fry. Started with nice crunchy bread along with coleslaw, which normally I don't eat but I did & it was very good, nice & crunchy and seasoned just right. Comes with fries or boiled red potatoes. I got the potatoes which were average, 3 small potatoes, nothing special. Others got the fries which were nice & crispy. The fish was outstanding! Fried cod, thick white meat, piping hot. The tartar sauce, excellent. All u can eat for $10.50, great deal.
Servers friendly & really work hard here. Bartenders not the friendliest. Atmosphere nothing to speak of, dining room tight knit but worth it with the great food! Highly recommend.

“Great food, Great Service and Very Supportive of Veteran's”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 11, 2012

As the leader of a veteran's group (American Ex-POW's) we need to search, occasionally, for venues that will host our meetings and provide the membership with great food and service. We found a real gem in Alioto's Restaurant. We hold our meetings here every other month at lunch and we also have our Christmas party here. The food is always great. The service is prompt. Kiki, the owner, is very supportive of our group and makes sure our every need is met. We love this restaurant!

“Great food - Old School Supper Club!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 25, 2012

5-12-12 Excellent food and service!! I needed a place for a luncheon for my mom's 90th birthday party, and everyone at Alioto's was extremely accommodating. Initially we were told that we would have to be in the main dining room, but then I received a call that a private banquet room was available, and it was wonderful! I chose 4 entrees for our group - the filet mignon, breaded shrimp, chicken parmesan and breaded pork chops. Each entree was delicious, served piping hot and the portions were very generous. The timing of the salad and entrees was perfect, and they even cut the cake that I brought in. I wish I knew our waitress' name, because she was extremely friendly and competent, as were all of the wait staff that helped with our event. The total cost was only $16 per person, and this included salad, bread, the main entree, and choice of coffee, hot or iced tea, or milk. The $16 per person cost included tax and gratuity as well!! Everything was awesome and my mom will have very fond memories of her 90th birthday!! We have also gone there numerous times for the fish fry or just regular meals. Every time the food and service have been exceptional. The bar also serves a "blended" amaretto stone sour (my favorite drink) which is hard to find anywhere else. Outstanding in every way - Highly Recommended!!
