“Good Food/ tight place”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2013

The food is very tasty, but the ambience is extremely tight. I know this place is popular, and there is a reason to be, but I wish the place did not put so many tables crowding each other.

“Interesting menu”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2013

We thought we were doing the cooking class experience but reservations were messed up, so we dined in the dining room and the food was excellent.

“always a great meal and a great experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2012

This neighborhood gem is a favorite place for almost any occasion- from a special evening to a fun brunch. We have also had a special birthday meal cooked for us in the Chef's cooking school that was outstanding. The owner, michael and his entire staff work hard to provide attentive service- even when the place is hopping! Reservations are the best way to assure a spot on a busy weekend. This is our everyday wonderful/special occasion/neighborhood place!

“It Does NOT Get Better The THIS”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2012

Wow. Every time we dine here, the service and food are awesome. Try the polenta!!!! It is to die for. Never had polenta as good anywhere and I am a California polenta aficionado. Terry from San Diego.

“Innovative and tasty, can't wait for East Side Location to open”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 21, 2012

We don't get to Tosa very often and Il Mito is usually always crowded which is a good thing. Everything is tasty and reasonably priced and on a few trips recall a prix fixe menu which is always appreciated on a budget that allows us to try different dishes. I have never had a bad meal here and was so happy to hear that a new location is opening up on the East Side at the former Osteria del Mundo location. I hope Chef Fekker brings the same casual, yet approachable and affordable tasty food to this new location!
