We are overall very satisfied with the food. We had for starters onion rings (way above what you get in fast food) and the beer cheese sauerkraut dip which is really exceptional (it looks like french onion soup but much thicker/richer). We then had goose shank (taste like french goose confit) and baked pork shank (a daily special). Both were really tasty. The pork shank is so big that you could share it among two people (or don't take starters). The weiss beer franciskaner is really lovely, light and tasty.
The staff is very friendly. The check is a bit on the high side (entrees are about $30)
