“Excellent place for a date”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2012

Decided to eat at Lake Park Bistro before the Bucks game. Incredible restaurant, incredible service, incredible food. A little pricy, but you definitely get what you pay for. High recommendations on the PEI Mussels and frites appetizer and French onion soup. Very cool bar as well. The Bartalotta family knows how to do restaurants as well as anyone in the US.

“Wonderful Bistro”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2012

Lake Park Bistro is part of the Bartolotta group of restaurants in Milwaukee. It is a French bistro style atmosphere with an excellent (mostly) French wine list. The setting is in a park by Fredrick Law Olmstead and so the restaurant has a wonderful rural feel with a great view over Lake Michigan. The food is by James Beard nominee chef Adam Siegel who provides authentic bistro style cuisine with original touches. A wonderful experience from start to finish. Highly recommended.

“Best Date Restaurant in Milwaukee”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

Food is second to none in Milwaukee - excellent French cuisine - very high quality food.

Excellent service - you'll be treated like royalty (especially if its a special occasion!)

Magical atmosphere - its called a Bistro because its semi-informal, but its lovely, up-market and comfortable.

“Down at the Bar......”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2012

The only place to have dinner here is at the Bar! The food is outstanding wherever you sit but it's so much more interesting to sit at the bar. I have found that the service at the tables is just ok where as the service at the bar is Spott On!

“Nice Milwaukee Restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2012

The food and service were very good. Our waiter was extremely knowledgable about wines and all the dishes on the menu. The location was good, and for an early dinner i'm sure the view of the lake is beautiful. Late October, late evening, didn't get to enjoy too much of it.

Only downfall was we ordered soup, it was a little chilly, and my entree was also not too warm. My friend had the ribeye, with a red wine reduction it was fantastic, but maybe a little on the salty side for some. I had a special duck dish--it was good--not fantastic. Ribeye is a standard, you may want to try it--a lot of food on that plate.

Prices were not unreasonable for a restaurant of this caliber.
