“Small plates, HUGE taste”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2013

So I was finally able to get a reservation at the Odd Duck in Bayview and it was worth the wait. Great "hip" environment, with young chef's making their mark on the culinary scene. Small plate style dining with a few bigger ones. We had the stuffed dates, korean tenderloin bulgogi, the lamb skeweres, stuffed peppers, beet gazpacho, and braised beef short ribs. All the food was outstanding and delicious. The menu changes regularly so there is always something new. I highly recommend this restaurant, but call at least a week out for your reservation. We had a lot more food but that is all I can remember. Damage for four people plus wine was $150. Not too bad at all.

“Best restaurant in Milwaukee”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2013

This place is the #1 place to eat in Milwaukee. It's nearly impossible to get a table unless you make reservations a week out.

The atmosphere is warm with low lighting and wood tables and chairs.

Small plates are the way to go. Especially liked the tenderloin, bacon wrapped dates, red curry, and scallops.

“Hip spot with incredible food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 18, 2013 via mobile

I have been to Odd Duck a handful of times and enjoyed every dining experience. Small place and the acoustics are really bad but are overlooked when dining on creative small plates and wonderful service. Highly recommend.

“Really great service, affordable wine and very yummy food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 24, 2013

Went with 4 other friends. We had 2 bottles of wine and shared about 7 small plates plus a cheese board for around $50/person. We were stuffed but it was hard to stop ordering since everything was so good.

My favorite dish was the Basil Panna Cotta with Pine Nuts.

The Fried Green Tomatoes, Black Pepper Goat Cheese, Tabasco Hollandaise $7 were the best fried green tomatoes I've ever had at a restaurant-really full of flavor.

Though the table's consensus was "More Pork Belly!" the Pork Belly & Clam Korean Pancake, Scallion, Wonton Crisp, Seet Ginger-Chili Sauce, Sambal Cucumber $9 was a hit at our table.

“Great food, excellent service, small space”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2013

I've eaten here twice and both times have been absolutely phenomenal!

Waiter was super helpful and definitely made the tapas experience different from other restaurants. He provided actual direction to our selections/timing - making it more of a journey through our meal as opposed to the normal: order, wait, eat.

Favorite dish: Mussels!
