Decorated beautiful for the holidays! Will return for more intense tour - even the 4 men in the group enjoyed the tour. Great for all generations - must be able to do steps. Thank you for keeping this beauty on Grand Avenue!!!
Enjoyed a tour here in early December. The Mansion is decorated for the Holidays, so the tours are self-guided but docents were around to answer any questions you may have. We really enjoyed the decorations and go at your own pace style, even stocked up on some homemade Christmas gifts.
There is a small parking lot that had plenty of spots for no charge- we got there at noon when it opened, though.
My kids took me for a tour on Mother's day --- what a treat! The mansion is stunning and the docent was informative. We learned about the Pabst family, as well as architectural information. They even have a little gift shop...that was formerly a building in the World's Fair in Chicago.
I had toured the Pabst Mansion once before, at Christmas time, and the decorations were really beautiful.
Such a beautiful historic treasure that is so well preserved...right in downtown Milwaukee. Beautiful German carvings and a mansion that gives you sense of what it was like to live like an immigrant German Beer Barron....even during Prohibition in America.
We were the 1st visitors on a Sat morning. Tour was self-paced, it would have been nice to have had a guided tour since there is so much to see. Overall, good experience though.
