“I guess a fish place should know how to do fish, huh?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2012

.....and they do. I have eaten here often and it has always been great. My latest visit involved a plate of grilled salmon, which was just about as good as it gets. This place can get crazy busy, but there is probably a reason for that, right? Visit these folks with the comfort of knowing you'll likely walk away quite satisfied.

“1 LB Alaskan King Crab Leg Dinner for $14.95!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2012

While touring/barhopping around Milwaukee's 3rd District Riverwalk area, we stopped in the Public Market where the St Paul Fish Company is located. There were just two stools left open at the counter, so we grabbed them, ordered a couple Schlitz draws and started reading their menu boards.

We first tried the shrimp kabobs for an appetizer, about 5 hot, freshly grilled shrimp on a stick. As previously posted, they serve a whole 1lb lobster with fries and coleslaw for $13.95. What caught my eye was their daily dinner special menuboard that advertised a whole pound Alaskan King crab leg dinner for only $14.95 on Wednesdays, which it was. It came with fries, coleslaw and melted butter. The legs were large, the meat was juicy and tasted fresh, not like it had been stored somewhere in a freezer for months. Highly recommend this place is you want East-coast fresh seafood at a real decent price here in the Mid-west.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2012

As part of the Milwaukee Market St Paul wears several hats, Seafood: Market, Restaurant, Bar and wholesaler. They pull off the freshest seafood with several great specials Lobster and Oysters. Service is so so, but have a seat at the counter and watch the show.

We had the Lobster Roll and the Scallop dinner and have never had such well prepared and delicious seafood for the price. Amazing experience in the public market- short wait time, friendly staff and WONDERFUL food. It made the trip!

“Very good casual seafood”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2012 via mobile

I ate a quick meal with my two kids at St Paul Fish Co at the Milwaukee Public Market. We had clam chowder, a Caesar salad, steamed mussels and a crab cake appetizer. Everything was very good and speedy; the chowder was really delicious. We will go back for sure. The price including a glass of wine and juice for the kids was $41 plus tip.
