So I planned a nice day with a friend of mine in Milwaukee and decided that I want to stay somewhere in Downtown Milwaukee. I went on to my favorite website (Hotwire.com) - Did a search for a 4 Star Hotel in Downtown Milwaukee. A $57 price came up, and I booked the hotel. It happened to be the Ambassador Hotel in Downtown Milwaukee - This was not revealed until I bought it. One of the huge positives of this hotel is FREE PARKING & FREE INTERNET. Another huge positive is, A Free Shuttle Service to anywhere in Downtown Milwaukee. The shuttle leaves the hotel on the Half Hour and stops running at Midnight. As far as the room goes, It is nothing special but the hotel has a lot of charm and is a pretty cool place. The first thing you will notice as you are going to your room is the old elevators. You need to push or pull the elevator door to get in. Once in the elevator, It is just like a normal old elevator. The Rooms are OK size but nothing huge. The bathrooms are smaller, and if you are larger man it will make it hard to move around without bumping the door. Hotel is very clean and everything you could want for an overnight stay. I would recommend checking it out.
