I found this hotel to be a bit depressing. It was dark and dreary. Brown seems to be the color of choice here--our entire room was decorated in various shades of it. Dim lit flourescent lamps were used to compliment the decor. My husband, who travels frequently for business, said it was a nice hotel compared to some of the places he has stayed. If you're traveling for business, than perhaps it is OK, but don't go if you're looking for a nice place to stay on a weekend getaway, you'll be disapointed. By the way, the Grand Ave Mall is a low end mall, I wouldn't consider it a draw.
