“Awesome Stay for Harley's 110th Anniversary!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2013

The stay at this hotel was really, truly a pleasure. Everyone from the registration desk to the room attendant were soooo helpful and welcoming. I am not some 'gold" level member, so it was not for that reason- eveyone was just friendly and helpful. the room was clean, bed was awesome and the place was really beautiful. I'd definately stay here again.

Stayed at the Hilton as I was visiting my daughter at Marquette University. Located less than 1/2 mile from campus and just a little over 1/2 mile from lake front! Lots of places to walk to. Great pub/restaurant downstairs Only downside was the $3 water bottles in the rooms... In the vending area... And in the gift shop. Walk down the street to any carry out and pay half that at least! Rooms were very nicely done, quiet, great view of downtown and comfortable beds. Lobby and common areas also nicely redone. Reminds you of a classy hotel from the 40's. Would definitely stay there again!!

We stayed here to celebrate the 110th Anniversary of Harley Davidson. It was convenient to all the events, walking distance to the Harley Davidson Museum the Riverwalk and Public Market. excellent access to the bus to Summerfest and taxi to the Headquarters and Miller brewery tours. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice however the bathroom was "tight" the furniture and bed were updated and comfortable. Housekeeping was through and prompt. The hotel restaurant was very reasonably priced. The "Miller Time Pub" offered several specials for the celebration. The hotel closed the street in front the accommodate motorcycle parking and an outside bar and grill. We will stay here again.

I have stayed here often, and always experience great amenities and great service. On site restaurant options also provide great food. Great location with easy access. I will stay at this Hilton again on future travels to area.

I stayed at this hotel for Triathlon Age Group Nationals. I found it convenient to everything and about a 15 minute walk to the water. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was clean, the rooms were spacious and seemed recently remodeled. Bathrooms were okay, a little on the small side, but the room made up for it. I had a view of the other side of the hotel and the top of the lobby which seemed to get covered in litter every night. There is a Starbucks connected to the hotel, a Walgreens about 3 blocks away and a mall about 4 blocks away.

The eating establishments within the hotel, The Chop House, Miller Time and the Café give you quite a few choices for dining.

Overall I was very pleased with this hotel and would stay again.

The elevators ran a little funky (going up instad of down, staying open until the alarm went off even though nothing was in the doorway) from time to time and the rooms were a bit small. No fridges or minibar or snacks in room. It was a bit of a hike and chore to find the ice room, but it was partially dye to it being well disguised to fit in with the rooms around it so it was understandable but a note in the room would have been nice to its location. The Miller Time Pub in the lower lobby of the building was a nice spot to eat and grab drinks at the hotel. My bed was great but I had another coworker that said his was hard as a rock and he complained of lack of sleep. Room service was tasty ad prompt and a bit pricey but hey that comes with the territory eating at a hotel. I love the facade of the building and it gives the look that it could be haunted, perhaps that is why the elevators act up :) Overall I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and wouldn't mind staying there again.

Hello Ken H:
Thank you for sharing the great feedback from your visit. Usually our ghosts' stay far away from the elevators (kidding). I am happy to hear you enjoyed a great nights rest in your accommodation and that your Room Service experience exceeded your expectations. I look forward to welcoming you back to the hotel on a future visit to Milwaukee.

Regards,
Brandon Drusch
