Great hotel, very close to downtown Milwaukee. Hotel staff were awesome! Always someone asking us if we needed anything. Rooms were very clean, mattress was awesome. Would definitely stay their again when we return to the city.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The hallways seemed a little narrow and dark, but I think it was the paint color (dark mustard). Only one elevator near the front lobby, but discovered another elevator in the back by the pool. Speaking of the pool, it's a down a long hallway, far from the front, so I wouldn't feel safe back there by myself. We had a king room that overlooked the river. The river view is nothing spectacular - brown water and a lot of trees, so I'm not sure that I would pay extra just for the view. The room could use a little modernizing because the beige-colored walls make the room look a little drab and the chair was filthy. Did not even think of sitting or placing clothes on it. If the chair was cleaned it would be nice to have an ottoman too. The walls are pretty thin because we could easily hear conversations going on in the next room and in the hallway. The room had had a mini-refrigerator (which had a random hair in it) and counter space. The big plus of this hotel was the wonderful buffet breakfast in the Anchorage restaurant (yummy, fresh, plentiful). Another plus is the hotel's proximity to the huge Bayshore Town Center mall which is the hot spot for dining, shopping, walking, and entertainment because there is nothing else to do in the area. {Note: the mall is not walking distance to the hotel, but you can take the hotel shuttle.) Overall, it wasn't the worst hotel, but it could have been better. (I gave it higher than average marks for value because I had a discounted rate that included breakfast. May have rated it an average value if I had paid more.)

Thank you for your comments following your recent stay with us!

Our Hotel is very proud of the many options and features that we can present to our guests.....our location to the local attractions such as the Bayshore Town Center Mall, our levels of customer service from our staff, our signature restaurant, The Anchorage.....all to name a few.

We are also proud of the recent enhancement projects that we recently completed, such as new hallway carpeting and wallpaper, new flat-screen TVs, and new guestroom linens. Future projects are always in the works to maintain our Hotel's quality.

While the timing of these other projects is out of our immediate control, what is in our control is the cleanliness of our facility. You comments have been brought to the attention of our Housekeeping Department.

What we cannot control, though, is Mother Nature and the surrounding landscape. Many other guests enjoy the serenity of the river, its county park banks, and unique setting that it gives to our Hotel.

Please visit us again soon!

Everything about this hotel was great. Staff were friendly and accommodating, particularly Mr. Dietrich and Jill Haan. He was always happy to share a few words and she really stepped up when hail and rain threatened our bikes on Friday night. The restaurant was pleasant and the food was wonderful. At breakfast, James was really attentive and did a great job serving us at our table even though we were doing the buffet. The rooms were especially comfortable and we loved having the river view. We would definitely return to this hotel the next time we visit Milwaukee and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to our friends and family.

Thank you for the glowing comments following your stay with us during Harley-Davidson's 110th celebration!

I am very proud to lead a staff that has brought nothing but positive accolades to both our Hotel and to our signature restaurant, The Anchorage! We all work very hard to provide the best possible hospitality and dining services in this unique setting.

We hope that we don't have to wait until the HD-115th Anniversary to welcome you back!

Really enjoyed the staff, from the front desk, to maid service. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Hotel location was good, even though we would have liked to have been closer to the Harley event. Need to add a continental breakfast for the price. Cleanliness good, however, need to update the bathrooms.

I felt like everyone working at this Hilton was there just for me. It was the absolute best customer service I've received anywhere. The service, food and bar were outstanding. Access from major road was easy. We will come back.

Great place to stay, easy to find, very fair pricing. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable bed. We ended up having one of our children join us at the last minute and the woman at the front desk was very gracious and comped us an additional free breakfast. As our son live in Milwaukee, we will return.

Recently stayed there for high school reunion.
Great Staff, lovely room.
Nice view of the river. Some friends and I gathered riverside for drinks and appetizers before going out to dinner - almost stayed there, but we wanted to visit some old haunts. Wait staff is excellent.
morning brunch was bountiful and delicious.
Very relaxing.
Looking forward to staying there again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the river side.

Thank you for your comments following your Class Reunion visit with us!

We are very proud of our staff that made your stay with us enjoyable. But we are equally proud of our signature restaurant, The Anchorage, which seemed to captivate you and your reunion classmates into spending more time with us before going out.

The unique setting, our full-serviced Patio, and our popular Brunch Buffet all create a great dining option for our Hilton Milwaukee River guests. (The Anchorage also has their own dedicated Trip Advisor listing for your comments there as well.)

Should your travels bring you again back to Milwaukee, we do hope to welcome you back here!
