“Best Red Sauce”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2013

The red sauce used in pasta Della nonna is the best in Milwaukee bar none! Also a great setting on the river.

“Monday's place for cheap pizza”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2013

This location was selected because of the pizza happy hour. If you order a drink of any sort, including sodas, the special is $1 cheese pizza with each additional topping for $1, off a list of what is still available. The slices were more like a quarter panel, they were huge. Red sauce, fresh toppings. The place was hopping, a young crowd, some just stopping in to grab a slice and say hi, some were clearly there all night. . We were outside on the patio, overlooking the Milwaukee River. The music was 80's, the bathroom was clean, but way down in the basement. The waiter 'Ted' was efficient, polite and accurate. I am a bit anti-pizza, but this was good for what it was, and I will likely do it again.

“Great place on the river.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2013

The food here is very good and the selection is creative, along with some standard Italian fare. Service was good and we were greeted promptly and courteously. Sit outside if possible. It's a beautiful view.

“Awesome!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2013

We had our rehearsal dinner at Rustico for our wedding and it was amazing. The private room is gorgeous and right on the river. The food was wonderful! The manager, Dan, was great-- he helped so much in organizing the night and he was great to work with.

“Good authentic pizza.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2013

Stopped here for some good pizza, and left impressed. The bartender informed us that the owner is Italian and believes in making authentic Italian pizza. We had a thin crust with fresh garlic, fresh mozzarella, and pepperoni. Pizza was good, not amazing, but a little pricey. I would definitely recommend this place if looking for a different than the usual pizza.
A major downside to this place though, is the location of the bathroom. Downstairs, all the way to the back, around a corner and hang a left. A little creepy and dark. So..go before you go.
