The newly-opened Harley-Davidson Museum in Milwaukee is a wonderful exhibit of the evolution of this American icon. The company was wise enough over the years to set aside one example of each year's model so that one day they could open a museum like this to the public. HD pulled out all the stops to make this both a fun and educational experience for Harley-Davidson fanatics as well as for people who've never touched one before. There are hands-on demonstrations for kids to operate, an array of motorcycles for anyone to sit on, exhibits of the different types of engines, drive trains, motorcycle races, gas tank art, and singular examples from "King Kong" to the 1956 KH owned by Elvis Presley. Everything shows that Harley-Davidson loves what it makes and those who own their products. All ages and types of people will find something here to catch their eye. Almost everyone comes out wanting to join the Harley-Davidson experience.
