So disappointed. Over priced. They gave me a studio room. I have a pull out full sized bed. It's pretty hot and it has a musty smell. There is No mini fridge and the wifi is awful. Honestly for the price that I paid I expected better and for this quality I might as well have booked a room at best western or days-inn.

This Hotel is connected to the convention center. Shopping, lakefront, and all activities are within a mile. Also, public transportation to most places. Taxi to/from the airport was $40 with the tip. You will not be disappointed. Clean and luxurious, with friendly and courteous staff. There is no fridge, but we got a $5.00 styrofoam cooler at Walgreens down the street. Used the single brew machine for hot water. Mom is on a special diet, so we had everything we needed. Beware - Milwaukee closes early!

Room Tip: We were away from the elevator, and didn't hear anything.

3 night trip to Milwaukee. First night we were at new Marriott (see separate review), last two nights here as this is where my conference was being held.

Pro's: close to Bradley Center, River area and pubs. Some folks have written that it's close to the Third Ward --it's a bit of of hike/walk. There are closer hotels to this area and the water front.

Service -Average. Friendly staff at check in. Though they totally understaff their bellman. All two days between a conference and wedding they had one guy.

Rooms -Okay. This is an older hotel. And while they've modernized it with the latest Hyatt room decor, it's still old. Our room's king bed faced the windows. However windows were really dirty. I mean, it was hard to really see the view there was that much dirt.

Internet/WiFi-- forget about it. Slow. Unreliable. I was there for a conference and the presenters and guests couldn't connect. Even the group that was trying to do a web stream could get it to work.

Bright spot -they have a nice business center with a great group collaboration area.

Room Tip: This is an atrium hotel. As for a room in the corner if possible to be a bit off the atrium and nois...

First, I love the location of this hotel. Very close to the beautiful river walk, Water Street bars and restaurants, the Milwaukee Public Market and the historic third ward. There are plenty of places within walking distance. The room and bathroom were very clean and we were lucky enough to get a beautiful view of the river from the 18th floor. Parking is a bit high at $25 a night and the garage is a hassle to get to from the hotel (but they do have valet). I was a bit annoyed the coffee pot in the room only had one decaf and one regular coffee serving (which left one of us grouchy in the morning as the charge for room service coffee was $7 + $2.25 delivery charge). The staff was great, polite and helpful. We had a chance to visit the bar and order a pizza, much recommended!

This was my third stay in Milwaukee with my fiance and our first stay at the Hyatt Regency, we both agreed that we would come back to this hotel our next visit.

Stayed for a conference. Conference rooms ok (good size) but very cold and WiFi totally unreliable.

Snacks served during conference were ok but had worst meal ever at Cafe 333 - do not order the 'gourmet' hot dog. Waiter didn't even ask how it was - guess he could see it was an overcooked, skinny sausage on a plain white bun covered with tasteless "cheddar".

Was looking forward to some down time while here but there's no pool and they don't seem to have my favorite TV channels - no food network or HGTV? View out my window is very industrial - and windows are filthy. Doesn't seem to be much around the hotel to do.

The hotel was in a good location for visiting a few decent taverns...it was very clean and the staff was friendly...the parking situation isn't good...it's extremely expensive $25 a night...you can park in other locations that are much less...the restaurant was good and the staff very friendly...the breakfast buffet is $18 but there's plenty to eat...it's a very nice hotel if you're going for summerfest and want to stay someplace clean and nice.

We stayed one night for Summerfest. Check-In was fast, the young lady who checked us in was very helpful with transportation advice for Summerfest. Room was quiet considering it was busy. Would stay again!
