The worst thing about the Hubbard is its popularity. That has led to complacency. I've been there countless times over the years because I live on the same street. It is odd that you can barely get in for breakfast on the weekend as I think that is their worst meal. The frittata is my fave, but everything else is rather bland but you get a lot of it. The coffee is very commercial-grade. Lunch is always jammed so it takes a while to get in and out. The food is good though. They used to have a good variety of dinner options but several years ago they took lots of things off. Love the pot pie. Then comes their famous pie. They are great but they rely too much on extremely heavy cream-based recipes. That's great on occasion, but man they are artery clogging meals in themselves. I would like to see them jazz up the menu a bit - esp. breakfast.
