Bike trail (and walking trail) is very pretty...but even better is the Red Cedar River that it rund along. Whether you take your own canoe/kayak or rent from the outfitters right there, it is a beautiful, relatively shallow, relatively fast flowing river that goes about 9 miles downstream and opens into the Chippewa River which then eventually joins the Mississippi. Absolutely beautiful. And, just about 3 miles down the river or trail is a lovely old restaurant and pottery place, made from an old abandoned creamery.
