“A labor of love”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2014

Jeff greeted us kindly at the door and we felt like we were at a friend's home for dinner. I have never eaten with pets before in a restaurant and it was kind of cool.

Inspired:the pasta special with the cold Potosi beer

Food: good

Wine: stick with beer

Service: good

Atmosphere: comfortable with nice artwork and Jeff was very friendly

“Romantic dinner for 2”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2014 via mobile

You would expect this on a small seaside town in Italy, but in mazomanie.. It is quite a unique bistro! It is ran by a husband a wife duo, the wife is the chef and makes the best pasta (and desserts!). Husband is the host, waitstaff, and bartender. There is limited seating for dining, but plenty of comfy seats to hang out in while you wait. Highly recommend this place!

“Relaxing and Tasty”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2013

We enjoyed this place after a day of talking with artists and viewing during Fall Arts Tour. The restaurant is right in the downtown area. The service was very individualized, with Jeff making good suggestions about wine and soft drinks and describing the food accurately. We spoke with the cook and server often during the meal. There were sofas if you wanted to just sit and relax. We were surprised but enjoyed the 2 dogs and 3 cats that were wandering around the restaurant, giving it an at home feel.

“Perfectly delightful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2013

Open only Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, the Wall Street Gallery & Bistro is a labor of love for chef and co-owner Nancy Jo. She and husband Jeff, waiter and bar tender par excellence, don't really have to operate a restaurant, but they do because they enjoy it and are darn good at it.

This is a pasta restaurant that also offers individual pizzas if you must eat something round, but stick with the macaroni. You choose your type of pasta, type of sauce (pesto cream is the best) and three veggies from a long list of options. $16. You can add protein such as scallops, shrimp, chicken, beef tenderloin, salmon or catfish for $5. You get a small caesar salad and a round loaf of HOT home baked bread with your order. Yum!

Jeff makes a fabulous peach mojito when peaches are in season. This is a quirky, funky restaurant that has the relaxed feel of home. Don't expect lightning fast service. Do expect a memorable dinner.

“Charming & Good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2013

This is a wonderful spot ~ charming, personal and very nice food, all made on the premises ~ pastas, sauces, bread and dessert. Loved my white clam sauce, the special for that night garlicky. Wall Street is the kind of place where it's all about good food and good company. Two thumbs up!
