It had been 25 years since I ate at the Blue Bayou and although Walter has passed, the food is still incredibly good and the atmosphere is inviting. White linen tablecoths and napkins, beautiful place settings, and a view of the lake create a lovely ambience. Our server was attentive and entertaining from the first course pate with fresh bread through the bisque, salad cart, and entree of blackened scallops cooked to perfection and served with baby red potatoes and vegetable. Wine list includes nice choices. We were too full for dessert!
