This is our favorite place for a weekend getaway. We rented two rooms and had three generations of family members. Check in was a breeze and staff was personable and friendly. We are always impressed with the size of the room and the many amenities (separate bedroom, huge tub, kitchen, microwave, fridge, fireplace and deck with a view to name a few). The water park had a great kiddie area for the 3 year old and 10 month old. There was enough there to keep them entertained for hours. The adults enjoyed the slides, lazy river and hot tubes which were both indoors and out! The room was well insulated as we heard no noise from hallways or next door neighbors. No compaints about this fine hotel and have recommended to family, friends and coworkers.

Excellent small getaway for our family. Kids loved the waterpark and it wasn't as crowded as some indoor waterparks are. We enjoyed family BINGO where the kids won many fun prizes. Also had a blast in the game room. The food at Smokey's BBQ was awesome too. The staff was very friendly. We will be going back soon for sure!

The room we had for the price was outstanding. Full kitchen, 4 bar stools, dining table with 6 chairs, whirlpool bath, enclosed bedroom with flat screen tv, living room with gas fireplace and flat screen tv and small outdoor deck. The indoor pool was great for families with kids. The staff was very helpfull and polite. The grounds are beautiful! There are a lot of activities for all ages.

We go to TR about 2-4 times oer year. It is a short drive from Chicago. You can usually check in early and everyone is very friendly there. They have a microwave, stove and fridge which is really nice when traveling with the kids. Our kids(ages 3 and 6) love coming here. It is the perfect place for their ages. You can venture into town for dinner if you would like as well. Good value and nice getaway!
