I travel for a living and eat out 80% of the time. I know what good service looks like. When we arrived Saturday night at 7:30 we were a bit surprised the restaurant wasn't very busy (which should have been our first clue). Our expectations were high based on their web site propaganda (quality service and expensive entrees), however, the dinner experience started off on the wrong foot when it took over thirty minutes to get our drink order. When the food was finally delivered to our table our waiter was nowhere to be found and the server had no clue who ordered what. The presentation on the plates was appalling for this expensive venue... a small piece of meat in the middle of a white plate with no sides or garnish. We were never asked if we cared for a second drink and we had to request water refills. All in all a very disappointing experience. The only upside was the wonderful live entertainment. Don't make the same mistake as we did... avoid the Baker House... go somewhere (anywhere) else!
