If you've stayed in a motel 6 before than you know what to expect. You get a very basic room for a very good price. Our room was spotless and the staff was very helpful. The location is convenient as it is right off the highway. Request an accessible room and you'll get a huge bathroom.

I used about 1/3 of a bottle of Febreeze to fumigate the room --it just smelled nasty! It was like a combination of mildew and cigarette odor. The bed stank of cigarette odor. The only good thing was that the air conditioner/heater unit did not make the odor worse, but then the heat was inadequate, so there was almost no point in running the heater on a 40 degree night.
This is not even a worthy lodging for one night while traveling --trust me and treat yourself to a higher priced hotel with a better reputation than lowly Motel 6.
The staff was pleasant enough, I will say that. I thought that they had 'remodeled' in the last 12 months, but I saw no evidence that this location was updated in any way.
The only real plus side to this hotel location is the Cracker Barrel across the street, and also a gas station convenience store and a Walgreen's Drug store in walking distance of only a couple of blocks from the hotel. Important to note the nearby Walgreen's as a good place to pick up some Febreeze or a candle to burn in the stinky Motel 6 rooms.

Check in staff was very friendly and later when I had an internet problem she was quick to try and get me help. Hotel is located very close to interstate with easy on and off options and is within walking distance of a Cracker Barrel restaurant. Price was very competitive and the reason I chose Motel 6. Room had small refrigerator and microwave and was clean. Bathroom and shower had been upgraded. Heat and cable worked fine and I would stay here again if in the area. I checked in about 9:00 PM so my stay was mostly for sleep only with little concern about the other services that may have been available.

You will want to stay at this Motel 6 location compared to the Madison, WI location. This location is more attractive than the corporate location and the rates are better in Janesville. Easy access with exterior entrances. Clean and looks recently renovated.
