This hotel is slightly dated but very well-mantained. My partner and I stayed here for two nights on a recent business trip and was happy with the place. The rooms and common areas are very well kept, clean, and comfortable. The bed was very comfy and provided a good sleep. Staff here are very courteous and friendly. Christina and Reba at the front desk were wonderful and they always had a smile and kind greeting when I left and returned. For this area, this hotel is by far the best option. The breakfast was very good and has a lot of choices. (fruit, cereal, eggs, bacon, biscuits, gravy, juice, milk, etc) We both felt very welcome here and were treated with utmost respect. I did not see any indication of prejudice toward the LGBT community whatsoever. It was a good value and provided us with a large, comfortable, and clean room and good work space. Plenty of outside dining options close by (Famous Dave's, Fuddruckers, Perkins, and all the fast food you can think of) My only complaint --- my room faced the freeway and a couple of times, in the middle of the night, the rumble of a semi trailer woke me. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
