“memories to treasure from these inspirational inventions”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 27, 2012

At first impression, we felt miserable with the weather and also intrigued by this park.It helped everybody into a plan and preparation focus which the children liked.A 'Can do' with the children. My eldest compared it to her first couragous climb at six in the small kiddies playground on rocks!A daring and exciting event all round for all who need to be brought out of their shell, and to all who appreciate a cold bottom when they get home and a shower and mince pie with icing.

“Great attraction for kids and parents alike”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012

Been here twice now - once as a family group, then with a group of my daughter's friends for her birthday. It's a great way to spend a few hours - a long trail around the perimeter of a couple of fields with rope swings, wobbly bridges over a stream, physical challenges and other activities, coupled with the most extreme 'playground' you've ever seen!

None of your plasticky commercial veneer to be found here - other than a small shop selling coffees, pies, ice creams, etc. it's all about good old-fashioned fun.

If you're the sort of parent who wraps your kids in cotton wool and worries about them picking up a few bruises and scrapes, this isn't the place for you - but if you're the sort of parent who believes in letting kids have fun by belting around letting off some steam and getting muddy, then you'll love it as much as they will :-).

“Family fun and dirty day out”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2012

We have been here 3 times now and the children and my husband love it and i have a great laugh at them especially my husband who thinks hes a child until the next day when he aches all over.Could do with a cafe and inside sitting area. Staff supervising the nature walk as there can be some naughty unacompanied children about. But overall a great dirty day out.

“Good old fashioned fun”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2012

We spent a few hours here in October half term. You follow a mile long trail climbing over bridges, swinging over streams, balancing on logs, sliding about on spinning wheels. It is really good plain old fashioned fun, not all bright and plasticky like your normal attractions, more of a rustic feel. Good value at £39 for a family of of four, bring a picnic and you have a great fun value day out.

“Boy heaven, and not an xbox in sight”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2012

Had heard about this place for years and finally visited this week with my two boys (10 and 12) and friends (also all boys, from 6 to 12). It's rare that somewhere exceeds your expectations but the Crocky Trail absolutely did. It's very good value for money, the attractions are great (not lame, as feared) and it was refreshing to find somewhere that's good for older kids and teens as well as little ones. Our slouch-happy Xboxers thoroughly enjoyed getting wet and muddy and had big smiles on their faces all day. A must visit. We'll be back!
