My husband and I stayed at the Astor House during a long weekend visiting family in Green Bay. The B&B was our refuge from the heat, the hassles, and the stresses. It was the place we looked forward to returning to at the end of the day. The room was lovely and relaxing, the host amiable and amenable, and the entire house amazingly quiet considering it is in the city and close to everything. We spent as much time as we could enjoying the enormous porch and even met some great people with whom we shared a bottle of wine and some fun conversation. Not the kind of thing you generally do at a ho-hum hotel. Finally, I left a dress in the closet and didn't even know it---until it arrived by mail today. If you have never tried a B&B, try this one. You won't be sorry.
