“DIDNT EVEN GET TO STAY”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 days ago NEW

When this place first changed hands from the Days Inn Lambeau, we and others had problems here. We gave them another chance and it was somewhat better. This time I didn't even get to book a room as they were still trying to scalp an $80.00 room for $220.00 for a Monday night because the Packers play the night before on Sunday. Really? Its their right to do whatever they want but I will no longer stay here any time of the year whether football season or not. You people (owners) are no better than pimps whoring out your rooms. I AM DONE WITH YOU!

By the way, I found other hotels in the area with rooms at regular prices. They WILL get my business from now on. ADIOS Quality Inn.

Room Tip: Choose another hotel.

I stayed here because it is a short walk to Lambeau Field. Parking is a little tight on full nights, lucky we had only one car. Recently renovated with good flat screen tv, bathroom countertop, and furniture looked newer. It is an older property, but you can see they put some money in renovations of rooms. Hallway carpet showing its age, but carpet in both rooms looked replaced. Liked the hot tub in public space, as a converted Southerner visiting Wisconsin in winter, it was warm and relaxing. Breakfast had make your own Belgian waffles.

We paid $299 per night with a 2 night minimum. Our bill was just under $700 with taxes and fees. The location is excellent for a Packer game. We pulled in on Saturday and didn't have to drive anywhere until we left on Monday. However, the room is disgusting! Lumpy floor (room 133), cave like tub enclosure, a child size toilet that didn't flush, the shower didn't drain, rips in the wallpaper, and 1970's decor. Room 133 overlooks the entry to the hotel and has an ashtray attached to the wall outside the window. The walls are so thin, we could hear the smoker's talking as if they were in our room. Given what they charge for game days, I don't understand why they can't improve the place. We will never stay here again.

Room Tip: Stay away from room 133!

We picked this hotel because of the location. We just went to take a tour of Lambeau field and I thought it would be a perfect walk. Unfortunately, it was raining to hard to walk! The room was good except for the lumps in the floor. Very odd! Breakfast was good, lots of choices.

We stayed here many times when this was a Day's Inn. We noticed the deferred maintenance issues then. Unfortunately, many of these issues remain. They have sacrificed a guest room to create a new breakfast room. It was well supplied and large enough. We were impressed with the selections. Our room (130) had over 50 mysterious lumps under the carpeting. Some of them were large enough to trip over. I couldn't imagine them letting this go. In the morning I spoke with a nice young woman who told me that ours was one of the 5 remaining rooms with the old carpeting. Since they were not 25% full I don't understand why they would even put guests in those 5 rooms. We were impressed with the new beds. They were very comfortable. The new granite in the bathroom was attractive. Unfortunately, the plumber reversed the hot and cold water supplies and I almost scalded my mouth when brushing my teeth. This is a careless and dangerous error. The towels were plentiful. The bathroom had a very short, round toilet. There was room for an elongated bowl. I hope they replace them soon. The new furniture is attractive and they have a fridge/micro in the room. The walls are concrete. The door is solid and takes a big shove to open. The room is very soundproof. Overall, it was a nice stay. I just found the lumps under the carpeting beyond belief and the reversal of the hot and cold water is disturbing. I have no doubt we will return, but we will request a room with new carpeting.
The hotel's proximity to Lambeau Field is great and the area has much to offer. Although we have never stayed here on a Packer home game weekend (the prices in Green Bay are crazy expensive then), we often go there for an away game to enjoy the game with like minded Packer fans. I hope to be able to improve my star rating after the next visit to the Quality Inn.

Thank you for providing us feedback regarding your most recent stay with us! I would first like to state, we apologize sincerely for the carpeting. We are definitely working on this issue. This is an issue that was present upon taking over the hotel and we are doing all we can to resolve the mystery of the lumps. Additionally, I will make the maintenance staff aware of the issue regarding the hot and cold water being reversed. This is not something to look past and may be a simple fix, of which may prevent another guest from the same negative experience as you.
We appreciate the kind comments regarding the renovations, of which we have gotten to complete fully. There are still a lot of renovations currently taking place here at the hotel and we will continue until all is complete. We are glad that you found our location accommodating.
We hope to see you again, soon! Again, thank you for your review!

A great location for enjoying a Packer game. Across the street from pre-game party and only a couple of blocks from the stadium. A bit pricey with the 2 night minimum stay for regular season games when you only need a single night.
