there were pros and cons of the hotel.
Pro: Cheap, basic needs, free internet, Good house keeping
cons: no microwave, no fridge, Walls appeared to be very thin.

It said continental breakfast but when we went down there. there was only bread. no muffins or milk for the cereal.
Was not given very good information about the hotel at all upon checking in.
very inconvenient location, we had to drive 15 miles to get to the heart of green bay.

Inflated rates due to airventure event that was 60miles south in Oshkosh. Worn-out amenities like old tv, flat pillows, paper thin towels, the wallpaper was peeling off the walls. The only good point was the great restaurant next door. Oh, there's also a country inn and suites next door as well. Wish I had stayed there.

3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2012

Recently stayed at the Super 8 so we could stay close to UW Green Bay as we visited our daughter. For only $56/night we were sure we wouldn't be staying in a 5 star hotel, and we were right. Nonetheless, our rooms were roomy and the beds were fairly comfortable. While we didn't hear any noise in our room, our son's room was very loud (right next to the stairway) with people coming and going at all hours and one loud drunken argument at 4AM.

The rooms definitely need some updating - especially the bathrooms. Looks like the decor is left over from the 80s, but if you aren't going for a ritzy hotel experience, this might be just what you're looking for. As we weren't planning on spending a lot of time in the hotel, our main focus was price.

The pool/whirlpool area is OK, but VERY cold. The thermometer on the wall didn't even register 60 degrees. Good thing that the whirlpool was good and warm!

Room Tip: If you want a cheap room close to the university, this is a good value. Nothing fancy here, but eve...

Great location. Good price. Easy check in. Friendly. Extra pillows. Cool air. Sink outside of bathroom which helps with multiple persons per room. No smell. Would stay again.

If you try to book two rooms, for two nights, less than a month from the first game of the NFL season, this is what you get. It's not terrible, but it's not great.

The rooms were clean enough but I agree with people's complaints about the beds - not very comfortable. The service was decent at the front desk, we needed some suggestions on late night dining and they were able to steer us in the right direction. Everyone seemed personable enough.

The AM breakfast was good, above standard for a continental. I'm not real familiar with Green Bay but the location didn't seem ideal. Close enough to the game, I guess.

Have to say I probably would not stay here again if there were other available options.

Room Tip: While the hotel has two floors, I did not see an elevator. If you have problems with stairs I'd...

This was a most unpleasant experience. Service was NIL and value took a noisedive. Staff at front desk were not driven for customer service. Check in was a time consuming process. Made last min reservations. Asked for non-smoking, but got a room that was obviously smoking. Not happy. Room was not vacummed well. Bathroom was clean, but worn (especially tub). Room was decent for a one night stay, but I would not come here again. This building needs to be up-dated and is in need of a good scrubbing.

When my wife and I decided to turn in we discovered that two of the four pillows in our room were did not have a clean pillow case on them. One had a drop of blood on it and the other human hair. Because we could hear plainly the TV in the next room (and it wasn't loud) we could not fall asleep until finally we turned on our radio for background noise. The motel is also in bad need of a remodel. Old furniture which is marked up, stained carpet and wall paper coming off the walls. Otherwise it was a nice place.
