“Beautiful Rooms”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2008

We went to Green Bay for a funeral and were offered the funeral rate - great rate by the way. We had a room with two queens, a pullout couch, microwave, mini-fridge and plenty of towels. Great breakfast! They had a waffle maker, cold cereal, bagels, and more - plus someone making omelets however you wanted.

We stopped here for a night on our way home from the UP because hotel was just off the highway. This hoted FAR exceeded ALL of our expectations. Room was New, spacious, spotless & reasonably priced. We paid about $100 for a king with an in room jacuzzi (room also had a wet bar/ fridge). Included was a wonderful breakfast with an omlet station, belgin waffles, coffee cake fruit etc.. far exceeding the usual complimentary breakfast fare I've had elsewhere. We also received 4 free drink coupons for the hotel restaurant, where we had dinner. Menu was ambitious, food decent, ambiance great.

The pool/hot tub area was SPOTLESS, bright, comfortable & also looked new. Water was the perfect temp. My 2 year old loved it!

I would reccomend this hotel in a heartbeat to anyone staying in Green Bay. Service was spot on, rooms fantastic & pool area couldnt have been better. The (standard) 12pm check out time gave us plenty of time to take advantage of all amenitys without feeling rushed out the door.

I stayed Dec 21-23. I stayed for the Thursday night Packer/Vikings game. The main reason I stayed there is because there website said it was completely renovated in 2003. I find it hard to believe because the room looked dated. Worn carpet and wall paper. The shower was so small ,but the bathroom was fairly clean.Don't let the word Comfort SUITES fool you, this was a oversided room with a couch and a whirltub in the middle of the suite ,next to couch in the sleeping area. I paid 168.00 a night I assume because of the game. This is what I pay at a 4 or 5 star hotel not a comfort suites hotel. We usually stay at a 5 star hotel not because we're rich but I feel You get what you pay for,but try to find one in Green Bay and surrounding area you wont' find one. I would not recommend this hotel. Try the Hilton Garden next to Lambeau. It looked nice from the outside and close to all attractions in Green Bay.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2005

My wife and I spent three nights here in August 2005 and we truly had a great stay. We found everything about the hotel to be wonderful and we both agree it deserves the very excellent rating we gave it. The lobby is very large, with a cathedral ceiling, chandeliers, and nice furniture. The hotel was completely refurbished from top to bottom about a year ago and made the hotel look almost new. All of the staff were very pleasant and helpful throughout our entire stay, especially Judy who checked us in and was on duty every day we were there.

Our room had a king size bed, sofabed, desk and chair, microwave, refrigerator and wet bar, all of which made our stay very comfortable. The quality of the furniture was above average, and all of the decorations were upscale and very nice. Our bed was very comfortable, with a plush mattress, and towels were thick and fluffy. Our room was very clean and very quiet. The hotel has a large indoor pool, whirlpool, and game room, all of which are great for families. There is also an exercise room and a business center with two computers and a printer.

The breakfast area is very large and very attractive, also with a cathedral ceiling and chandeliers. Breakfast was excellent and included two waffle irons to make fresh waffles, plus all the standard continental breakfast items. An attendant was on duty the entire time to keep everything replenished and clean.

The Rock Garden Supper Club is located right in the hotel and we had dinner there one night. Our dinners were excellent, service was good, and prices were reasonable.

Choice Hotels rates this hotel as a Gold Award Winner, one of their better hotels. We've stayed at many other Comfort Suites and this hotel very definitely rates among the best. The hotel has a new listing in the AAA Tour Book, but only as a two-diamond hotel. One of the staff told us AAA wanted a few minor items changed to get their three-diamond rating, and that these changes have been made. From our experience at many three-diamond hotels, everything about our stay here ranked with the best of these. We very definitely would stay here again and do not hesitate to recommend it to others.

As this was our first visit to Green Bay, we chose the Comfort Suites because of its location and the internet rate we found. We stayed 2 nights and had no problems. The room was clean and there were plenty of towels. We didn't try the restaurant but the complimentary breakfast with do-it-yourself Belgian waffles was a great way to start the day. The location is close to the National Railroad Museum and the NEW Zoo, the reasons we came to Green Bay. We also didn't experience the pool. We would go back again. KEN & JEN

I have seen the Vegas Strip many times and have also reviewed hotels from my home in Vegas. Never have I been treated so well as my last vacation to Green Bay with my family while at the Comfort Suites Hotel.
While I was there renovation was going on and I saw the old look in some rooms and the new look in others, what a change! The high speed internet was amazing and the staff was ever so helpful. If you are traveling to Green Bay I would suggest this hotel in a heartbeat. The adjoining restaurant and lounge was a great environment with superb food.
