This little place is so cozy and sweet. My friend and I decided to stay there on a visit to see my daughter perform at the Fireside Theatre (another place I recommend), and the nearby hotels seemed overpriced and not very attractive. What a fantastic find! The hosts/owners just happened to have been traveling that weekend, but had some great friends (Betsy & Jeff) take over and the service and charm never skipped a beat. It was so nice to begin our day with hot, strong coffee, a delicious gourmet breakfast and great company. In the evening, it felt like we were just coming home, rather than a boring hotel. I love the way the Inn is a mix of old and new. Every bathroom is gorgeous and CLEAN! The view of the lake is charming, as well. I wish the weather were a little more suited to be outside. That would have made it even more complete! If I ever have to get to Fort Atkinson again, you can be sure that I will be staying at the Rock River Inn!

Steve and Sue were welcoming and a pleasure to chat with. Lots of character and charm at this bed and breakfast. Great assortment of fruit, yogurt, muffins, eggs and toast for breakfast. A delightful assortment of tea as well. The homemade granola was delicious! Rooms were clean and I loved the asian themed room we stayed in. A lovely visit!

Great room (and bathroom) in a terrific little town. The owners were very friendly and even offered some very nice, local beer. The property is set on a river (hence the name), and is a short walk from the town center. The place has only been open for a short while and has been very nicely updated. Also super clean.

Room Tip: The largest room (which I didn't stay in) has very nice view of the river and a massive wall of...

We were delighted to stay at the inn again last Saturday night. (Our first visit was last September when we were performing at the nearby Cafe Carpe - who recommended Rock River Inn to us.) Steve and Sue had a fire going for us when we arrived in the afternoon, and breakfast Sunday morning couldn't have been better. There were four of us, and we traded rooms this time so that our friends could experience the Indian room and we slept in Africa. So beautiful. We'll be repeat visitors again in May, and can't wait.

We stumbled upon this gem, and couldn't have imagined any way our stay could have been improved: amazing decor, beautiful river view, nourishing breakfast (with hosts willing to accommodate dietary needs), and hosts so kind and relaxed we truly felt like we had arrived home. We will definitely find reasons to visit this special little place on the planet again...

Room Tip: The largest room, facing the river, has a spectacular view and very beautifully decorated bathroom...

ABSOLUTELY no complaints. A wonderful experience all around. Left this B&B relaxed and refreshed. The hosts, Steve and Sue, were extremely helpful with all our questions and we felt so comfortable working with them. Our family booked all of the rooms and we were all very pleasantly surprised with the value this B&B offers. Would definitely return and that says a lot - we are seasoned B&B travelers!

Room Tip: All of their rooms are extremely nice with a variety of price ranges.
