We spent just a little time here hiking Eagle trail. The observation tower is cool, but you can just drive up to that, and don't have to hike anywhere to check that out. The trail is really not very hard. I saw someone doing it in flip flops, although I wouldn't recommend that. My mom has breathing issues and did okay. It was a pretty busy place on a Saturday in July, but not annoyingly so. The hike was mostly through the woods with just glimpses of the lake through the trees, with several places to go off the trail and walk down to the water. A pretty but not terribly exciting hike.
