We chose Eastview because we were interested in staying at a B&B for our biking vacation in Elroy. We were drawn to Elroy because 3 state bike trails meet in town. We had a good experience. The owners were very friendly, taking a personal interest in getting to know their guests. They were interested in hearing about our "adventures" during the day and sat down to visit with us at breakfast. Really nice, caring people! If you are someone who would prefer to stay distant from the owners, this is probably not the place for you. The accodoations were fairly nice - our room was in the lower level, where there was also an "entertainment room" overlooking the valley(Great view!) with a TV, VCR/DVD Player, Piano, Records, a microwave, fridge, and coffee-maker. (No TV in the room) Soda, coffee, and microwave popcorn are complementary all day. We were the only guests the weekend we stayed, so we had the entire downstairs to ourselves. They also had walking paths, a goldfish pond, and a fire pit. Breakfast was pretty good! We had different flavors of breakfast breads every day, mixed berries, yogurt, omelettes, crepes... If we were to visit Elroy again, we would definitely stay here again - from what we could tell, these are the best accomodations in the Elroy area. And the friendliest/chattiest B&B owners you'll ever meet!
