We were on the road when we picked this place for lunch from Trip Advisor. Some restaurants talk ”homemade” but these folks really do it. If you are seated at the bar, you will enjoy the cooking spectacle and see for yourself that the ingredients and preparations are fresh, honest and healthy. The turkey, spinach and mushroom panini was made with real breast meat carved off the bone; the smoked ham and jalapeno-cheddar panini was delicious. Nice wines by the glass were available. The owners are cordial and aim to please. We regretted that we couldn’t stay in the area to sample their dinner menu, which offered interesting choices not typically found in a small-town café. This place is really worth seeking out.
