This was a great campground! My husband, dog and I camped here this past weekend for Memorial Day. We tent camped, but walked through the entire site a couple of times and only saw 3 tents out of probably a couple hundred sites! It seems as though rather than being a traditional campground for weekend warriors, many people live here months out of the year. Some had gardens, hammocks, and what seemed like permanent mobile homes due to the extensive 9x15' screened in porches and permanently built personal cabins. Our tent site was very nicely shaded/wooded and had a fire pit and picnic table. The bathrooms are very clean and apparently renovated pretty recently. I liked the natural wood walls and the music always playing (even though it was country...ugh). There is a bathroom with toilets, then a separate shower room with 7 or 8 changing rooms with a bench and sink, as well as coin operated showers and even a dry sauna! We don't have kids but the playgrounds were modern and clean and the kids were having a blast. We also didn't use the indoor pool or activity center/adult room, but they all looked decent. Fish creek and peninsula state park are about a 10ish minute drive, but it was crazy and more cheesy there than egg harbor. The only thing that I suggest which is minor is that they could have an area fenced off somewhere for dogs to play or be let off of a leash. It was frustrating to have our dog tied up at all times and not be able to run a bit or stretch her legs. There were dozens of dogs around and so this would be a great amenity!!!
We had site 25 which was close to the front and activity but surprisingly still quiet at night. It w...
