I visited the Best Western Atrium the end of June 2003. The hotel is under renovation so I did take that into account. When I went to my room the air conditioner did not work very well. I turned up as high as possible when I left. When I returned the room was HOT! I called down to the front desk and asked to be moved. I do have to say the staff was very pleasant and very helpful. When I was moved they were all excited because I was being put into one of the renovated rooms. What a joke!
They really must be trying to go the cheapest route. When I first walked into the room the air conditioner was wonderful they had new carpet and new bedspreads but the new carpet had white dust all over it . The bathroom still had the old counter top from 1960s and the door frame was horrible all full of white paint stuff. The floor was new ceramic the bathtub was not finished! the tile on the back wall was not up the worst thing was when they were remodeling they obviously put everything down the bathroom tub because when you turned the faucet on all this black dust and grime came up and the tub would not drain it was very creepy! Do not waste your time there are plenty of nice hotels in the area for about the same rate.
