“Great place for lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013

I had lunch there today with a friend. The beer is great - I had the Octoberfest. The lunch is nothing fancy, but it's tasty and there's good selection. The service was perfect.

“Super micro-brewed beer and good food too!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012

We had a Monday lunch for 4 and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Service was very attentive, We had three different home brews that each pleased. They offered a sample of the beer without being asked. The menu offered a nice diverse set of dishes. Two different burgers with fries disappeared quickly. The jambalaya was a smallish serving, but very tasty. The shrimp surrounded by corn fritters were excellent! A serving of nachos with chicken was rich with goodies. The building itself provided much of the interior decor. Very nice.

“Average”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

Nothing special, either in the atmosphere or food. Their beers seemed fine but their food is, on the whole, boring, and it can be a bit loud.

“Good service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2012

Food is good. Service is great for how busy they were. We were there on Saturday night. There were lots of folks there coming back from the Badger game.

“Reliable dinner spot in Delafield”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2012 via mobile

My wife and I come to the Water Street Brewery in Delafield whenever we want to grab a bite but want something different than a typical family restaurant. We really like the atmosphere and decor. Last night I had the Chicken Prosciutto Roulade, and I was very impressed with what was served. It looked and tasted like something you would get at a much more expensive restaurant, but at $12.95, I felt it was a great value. Wife got the Chicken Parmesan Strips, which came with twice baked potatoes, roasted vegetables and marinara on the side. She liked the different take on Chicken Parmesan, which gave the option of just eating the chicken or dunking it in the marinara. She asked for an additional side of marinara and they brought it with no questions asked and no up-charge. We had a great time there. We have had burgers here in the past, and we really enjoy those. I had the Scotch Egg one time out of curiosity; it was indeed tasty, but I made sure to savor it because it is, after all, a hard boiled egg. We will keep coming back because we enjoy the food and like the atmosphere, and it's easy to get to.
