“Serviceable for its purpose”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 16, 2013

Stayed at this hotel for a recent Packer game, the rate was quite reasonable considering what other comparable hotels were going for on game weekends. I had never stayed at this chain so I wasn't sure what to expect, and was pleasantly surprised at what I found. The rooms were recently renovated so the furnishings were nice and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was smaller than I would have preferred, but it was clean and there were no maintenance issues. The staff was positive and attentive and willing to help with any questions we had. I took advantage of the continental breakfast both mornings and was happy with the offering both days (eggs, sausage, pastries, cereal, etc).

My only real gripe with this hotel is that it isn't very convenient to any Packer attractions or dining options, and if you aren't looking to drive to these attractions for whatever reason, this can be a bit of an issue. A nice thing that they did to attempt to remedy this is offer a $5 round trip shuttle to and from Lambeau on game day. It made a couple of other stops on the way, but it probably only took us 20 minutes to get to the drop off point, which was the parking lot of The Bar (actual name of the establishment). It then took us back to the hotel at 5 pm (noon game) which was nice because it gave us time to hang out at the bars after the game for a little while. Once we got back to the hotel, however, we were basically stranded. It was a $30 cab ride to any nearby restaurants which in my opinion devalues the bargain that the Sleep Inn offers. After dinner, we did try to go to the Mexican restaurant that is within walking distance, however they had closed despite the fact that it was only 8:30 pm and they advertised being open until 9 pm. This was of course no fault of the hotel, but just information I thought worth sharing.

All in all, the Sleep Inn is a nice budget friendly option, especially if you don't mind driving yourself around Green Bay. However if you have no desire to be driving while you are there, you may want to consider an option nearer to the action.

Room Tip: Consider "soft costs" before booking this hotel i.e. cab fare, value of your time, etc

Friendly and clean. Comfortable bed and nice linen. beds were cozy and suprisingly the pillow were soft and comfortable, only thing did not get more shampoo when they cleaned the room and there is no conditioner. Continental breakfast is OK hot scramble eggs and sausage. if you need something Walmart is across the road. I wouls say again.

Room Tip: Try to stay on the east side of the building, Freeway on the West side.

Handy access off of Hwy 41 on south side of Green Bay. Just a couple of miles from St. Norbert College, Oneida Street, and Lambeau Field. Fast check-in, clean room, fresh cookies. Breakfast was standard, but very acceptable.

Room Tip: Might ask for a room with a "high" number, away from Highway 41.

Getting a room in Green Bay on a home Packer weekend is difficult, especially at a reasonable rate. I booked this room the week of the game at a rate of just $119 for a king.
The room was quite spacious, clean and nicely furnished. The desk staff was welcoming and helpful. I was also pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was, especially with a lot of rooms full of football fans. Location was good. Though the breakfast was sub-par, I never expect much when the breakfast is free.
I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for 1 night for a college weekend event. Easy on and off, directly on the highway and easy to find. Lots of shopping and food close by. This was our first time here and we were hoping for a good stay. The place is very clean and the pool while smaller than some was clean and easily accessible with plenty of seating. Our room was on the smaller side but adequate. I was expecting it to be a little larger. We had a little trouble with the room key working and had to do multiple swipes to get in. The beds were a little hard but passable. Nice pillows. Loved the lightweight comforters on the beds, we were toasty with the air on. There is no bathtub, only a shower but it didn't matter to us. Toilet and shower enclosed in a room with a pocket door. The handle is a bit of a challenge in the dark! We were on the top floor rear and it was real quiet. Didn't bring the laptop but they have a handy computer in the lobby for occupants to use.

Checked out early and skipped the breakfast but there was plenty of eggs, what looked like hash browns, waffles and the usual cold breakfast items available. Plenty of seating in the breakfast room too. Did get Orange Juice and Coffee to go. Staff at check in and check out pleasant and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place as a good value.

Room Tip: Back side is quieter than the front. End room was very nice with easy access to the stairway and th...

From the outside of this hotel I was not expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised that this hotel is quite nice. Very friendly staff, clean, a nice pool and hot tub (I am pretty sure the pool was salt water), hot breakfast in the morning, plenty of parking, fast enough elevator, modern decor, free/included Internet, 2 computers in the lobby to use, cookies at the front desk in the early evening, super convenient to the highway. Overall a very good value and we will stay here again.

Room Tip: We had an end room and there was only a shower stall in the bathroom (no tub). You might double chec...
