We have eaten here before and it has been fairly good, but last Friday took the cake. Our waitress was very friendly and enthusiastic, my DH even called her "chipper".
Our first issue started with the wine list, which only has about 10 to 12 red wines. We ordered the first Cabernet (as we planned to have steak) and she said they were out of both Cabernets. I could maybe see it at the end of a busy weekend, but before the weekend really starts...on a Friday night, really??? ( Send the busboy to Sams club). We then heard the next table try to order a Cab, too. Anyway, we ended up with a Merlot, which was fair.
We then ordered a cheese plate, which she said would be fine for two. It had a fairly large yummy chunk of slightly melted Brie, then only 2 small slices, (not even wedges) of 2 other cheeses. It did have a few nuts, apple slices, etc. but $11 for such small servings was disappointing.
Our entrees were fair. I had the salmon, which was OK, but dry. My DH had a pork dish, which had a strange gravy and he said the best part of the meal was the brussel sprouts.
We should have tried the Friday Fish fry, as that may have been the best choice for the evening.
Anyway, do not plan to go back there soon.
