This B and B is a MUST if you are near Madison, WI. I had previously lived in Madison for a year and was back for a weekend trip when I found this gem. I am convinced that there is not a better place to stay in the area for the money. You get the whole downstairs including bedroom with coffee and fresh gourmet chocolate, a personal bathroom with steam shower, and a sports den/man cave with flat screen TVs, fridge, and bar. On top of that the patio is as relaxing as it gets overlooking 40 acres, with deer and wild turkeys passing through. Sit in front of the huge outdoor stone fire place or the pound loaded with colorful coy fish. What a great place to kick back and unwind. The place was so great and relaxing I had a hard time even wanting to go into Madison.
In addition, Terry and Rebecca the owners were AMAZING. They are great hosts and were very accommodating. Even setting the table for out outdoor dinner and keeping the fire stocked with fresh logs into the evening. We were truly at home in this great B and B and were sad to leave but will be back again. If you are looking for a wonderful and relaxing retreat on your own slice of quiet nature this is your place. The scenery can not beat, the hosts are a good as it gets, and price cant be beat!
