When Sal's initially opened in Cedarburg they were truly serving GOOD New York Style Pizza. Over they years what you get has varied greatly. On our last visit to get some good New York Style Pizza (May 2012) we were very disappointed. We ordered a large pie with half peperoni & half cheese. What we received was a pizza with a darkened cardboard crust, (even after specifically telling the waiter not to burn the crust) very little flavor and none of the grease that is always found on Good New York Style Pizza. Unfortunately this was a repeat of what we found on our visit to Sal's in Cedarburg 6 months prior.
Our family will now be looking for a new location to get GOOD New York Style Pizza!
