It had been many years since our friend, a local, had stepped into this place. He knew it way back when, and for local standards (he lives on a budget - as most locals do) it was a bit pricey. However we convinced him that the changes have been considerable and it was a pleasant surprise for him to be able to enter the new environment. [We ate from the appetizers menu - it was enough as a lite lunch AND the food is quite good]
On an earlier visit my husband & I were trying for the Sunday afternoon outdoors entertainment. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate, but the entertainers were able to move indoors and we were happily entertained as almost a 'private venue'. Naturally the weather greatly reduced the audience size, so we were lucky to be relatively 'up close & personal'.
