My wife and I live very near by, so we decided to check it out since they changed owners. (It was formerly Panos' Steakhouse). It was completely different, in a good way. It was still pretty upscale but now has more of a sports bar atmosphere. They must have spent a fortune adding a new bar and wall after wall of local sports memorabilia.
As for the food. First off, during happy hour they have complimentary appetizers which is set up buffet style and consisted of chips and salsa, BBQ meatballs (delicious), breaded deep fried mushrooms and green beans. Very unexpected! My wife had a mushroom and swiss burger which she said was "pretty good", but the fries were too oily. I had the prime rib sandwich which was a slab of prime rib on a hoagie bun. Usually you get shaved or chunk-cut prime rib, but I liked it better here with all the fatty juiciness! The menu is your basic sports pub items. They have a long list of buffalo wing flavors which will be the next thing I try, because I plan on going back!
The burger, prime rib sandwich, 1 beer, and a mixed drink came to $30.
The service could've been better. He never checked on us, and he didn't warn me that sweet potato fries were a buck more.
