Common areas pretty nice, staff very helpful and friendly. Got rooms two separate nights last week through Priceline. Quite affordable, but pretty odd mix of poor repair and fabulous beds. I see why so affordable. Moldy ceilings, peeling paint in bathrooms, stained and stinking carpets and corridors. Stayed in Wisconsin wing first night, not too stinky. Came back at end of trip and stayed in Brookfield wing. Corridors reeked. Doubt there had been cats, but smelled like it. All the tiles in the elevator were cracked and broken. Room furniture, desk specifically was chipped and buckled along edge. Would snag clothing. I would not have stayed the second night had it not been for hertz rental there and airport shuttle. Kicker is, shuttle didn't start until after my plane scheduled to leave. Had to get a cab anyway. But, the beds were comfortable, linens terrific and staff great and heat didn't make a ton of noise like in some hotels. Thermostat on wall.
