The location is fine and the twin room we occupied ws comfortable and clean.
Our group of 6 was on half pension so we had no choice for dinner but what we did have was quite acceptable, but not exceptional,
The breakfast on the other hand was quite meagre compared to other rifugios we used on the AV1 but this is not why I have rated this place as average. It was the service that we experienced which let this place down.
May be it just wasn't her day, or days, but the person who served us for dinner and brekfast was surly and clearly found clients to be a hindrance. The next morning when checking out, this staff member also did a bit of a flip when we noted to her that we had already paid for the accomodation in advance and that it needed to be taken off the bill. I was berated for not fixing the drinks bill the night before even though it was impossible to hve done so as no one was available when we went to bed.
Other than this, the rifugio is a nice place to stay for a night.
