“Almost Like Home!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2012

We just ended a two night stay at Pinehaven and we would love to return someday! Marge and Lyle and their daughter in law, Pam, were wonderful hosts. Pam had alot of knowledge about the area and we took her suggestions and had a wonderful time. We greatly enjoyed the pond, the gazebo, the grounds were lovely. Best of all was the genuine interest they showed in the comfort of their guests and also making sure they were comfortable. The breakfasts were fanastic. It was a blessing to see the two generations working together so seamlessly. Hope to go back!

My husband and I just spent the weekend at Pinehaven. What a beautiful setting. The b and b is located well off the road and has a lovely little pond and mature pine trees. We stayed in the Wicker room which was beautifully decorated and had nice views of the pond out one window and a barn out the other. The bed is comfortable and the room has many amenities including a small refrigerator. It was immaculate. Marge and Lyle are great hosts. Their daughter-in-law Pam helps out with serving breakfast. They were all interesting and we enjoyed talking with them and the other guests. The breakfasts were wonderful. The first day we had french toast stuffed with sauteed apples and topped with pecans and maple syrup, sausage, fruit, banana bread and juice. The next morning we had an egg, broccoli, and cheese dish with fruit and strawberry cream cheese muffins. The location is perfect for visiting Devils Lake State Park. We hope to go back again.

We spent three nights at Pine Haven. The location is gorgeous with fields, woods and a pond. Lyle and Marge and great hosts and the breakfasts are delicious. Lyle will introduce you to his two Belgian Draft horses and show you around the farm. The old section of Baraboo is well worth a visit. We toured the Wisconsin Dells in a boat and hiked at Devil's Lake.

Just spent a weekend at Pinehaven.
My wife and I were meeting her cousin and husband, so we reserved two rooms.
Wonderful!
The rooms were comfortable and immaculate, and the hosts Lyle and Marge gracious and helpful. A pleasant and peaceful setting, ideally located for the Wisconsin Dells location.
We'd gladly go back.

Everything you could ask for in a B&B. We enjoyed conversation with other guests from as far away as California over fabulous breakfasts. A few of Marge's recipes are available in cook books.

The rooms were comfortable and modern.

In mid-October, the windows had a gorgeous view of the Baraboo Range at the peak of fall colors. (Devils Lake is just the other side of the ridge.) The hosts' Belgian draft horses roamed nearby pastures.

The place is beautiful and quiet, the innkeepers are wonderful and gracious, and the area is close enough to the Dells to do anything but removed enough to feel like a country vacation. They suggested two full days of activities for us, which were absolutely wonderful. We toured the beautiful grounds, slept in the antiquity room (which is really nice), stared at the private lake, and watched the sun go down. We will go again.

We stayed in the Pinehaven cottage over a weekend in March. We wanted to get away from the city hustle and bustle, and we found the perfect weekend getaway place. The grounds are spectacuar. There is a winding road lined up with pine trees leading to the lodging. The BnB overlooks a small quiet lake. The cottage is homey and romantic at the same time.
We spent hours in the whirlpool, cooked dinner in the kitchen and then curled up on the couch in front of the fireplace. The owners were extremely nice. We'll definitely be back.
