“Great spot in Baraboo”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2013

We enjoy Broadway Diner pretty regularly. Staff is friendly and the place is great for folks with kids. The size and acoustics can make it pretty loud sometimes. If you're in a larger group, you'll have to go to the back dining area as it's the only space large enough.

The food is tasty if a bit heavy (it's a diner, what do you expect). Special are a great find and the Friday Fish Fry is quite good. Save room for desert! They make the pies their and the shakes and malts are excellent.

“Great Find for Family”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

My husband and two children (7 and 3) ran across this place on a quick trip to Baraboo WI. We were very excited to finally have a place to go to outside the fast-food options located in Baraboo. The atmosphere is fun (50s style diner), clean and updated. Service was good; food was fast and very tasty. There were several things on the menu that I would have ordered and will for sure will be going back to try again! Breakfast is served all day - which is fun for kids.

“my families favorite”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2013

We love the Diner. Fun atmosphere. Locally and Family owned they take a lot of pride in the quality and presentation of your food and the property. I have never had a bad meal there. The meals are made to order fresh before you not pre made microwave diners. This is a "baby" restaurant and has its growing pains but this will be a Baraboo staple for a long time to come.

“Tried it 4 times we just wont go back”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2013

I tried a burger, no flavor. I tried fish fry and there are many better places in town. I had deep fried shrimp and they tasted like old water. This place is last on my list of places to go out to eat. We go out EVERY friday and at least one more time a week. The parking lot is empty for a reason. Except breakfast since you cant really mess up eggs and toast. Ice cream brand name is a good one.

“Had an excellent Mushroom Swiss Burger”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2013

When you get inside you do get the feel of an old style diner. It is cozy, with both booth and counter seating. Service was fast and the cook making the burgers does it right in front of everyone. He does very well with the limited space he has to work in. The cook working the day I was in was very responsible to make sure the food came out right. Also the burgers are hand pattied not a frozen burger so that makes them taste better than a lot of places right there. The portions were just right.

Overall it enjoyed my experience and felt the price was inline for the food I was served. I would go back again next time I am in Baraboo.
